A Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Vascular Surgery, in addition to his Australian training Dr.Deshpande also brings experience from the United Kingdom and United States.
Arvind is a Conjoint Senior Lecturer in Vascular Surgery at The University Of Newcastle Medical School.
He also supervises Trainee Surgeons, Junior Doctors as well as Australasian SET trainees at the John Hunter.
Arvind holds a Diploma in Diagnostic Vascular Ultrasound. He reports on vascular ultrasound for The Cardiovascular Centre which is a subsidiary of Hunter Imaging Group. He also offers prompt advice to General Practitioners on any queries about these reports.
He performs open, complex endovascular and hybrid vascular procedures. across the carotid, vertebral, aortic, lower limb and visceral territories. Arvind is well supported by specialised nursing staff, a hybrid theatre and an experienced group of vascular sonographers at Newcastle Private Hospital and John Hunter Hospital. Arvind and his team of Anaesthetists and Assistants do not charge a gap for any vascular procedures except for varicose veins.
